Sorry, gotta jump in, weight distribution will not cure sway. You need it
for a proper ride and control of the tow vehicle but it does not control
sway. Nor do friction sway bars, they both help, but do not control sway.
People roll properly distributed trailers with sway bars all the time (quite
often).

True, but you still risk sway. I short lighter trailer can still throw you
around even with proper weight distribution.
