There are books and webb sites that will tell you how to calculate your 
needs.  However,I suggest a more practical approach.  How many batteries 
do you have room for.  Good plan is for one 70 watt panel per battery. If 
I were you I would start off with one panel for your existing battery and 
see what kind of usage milleage you get.  Add more as necessary and space 
allows.  It may be more practical to not attach panels to your trailer 
but to have them on a mobile frame so you can adjust them to get maximum 
sun.  You can always attach them later if you wish.  One draw back is 
that you need 110-120V to operated air conditioner so it is a bit 
difficult to be totally self sufficient in some areas.
