[a/s] Interesting Story
As some of you know,
I am doing a bunch of research on maybe buying into a home park system.
Anyway, here is a very interesting letter I got. How would you like to
stay at this place, or pay several thousand buck to have ownership
there?
Our home park for TTN is
Pio Pico in San Diego
and Wilderness Lakes for Naco (that is the park
that the no use rule is based
on for RPI - their 125 mile no use from
the NACO park). We just (3 hours ago
came back from our first trip to
Wilderness Lakes - Not a bad park. At the
moment there are 2 problems
there. One - All the trees are being infected by
a bug and all the
leaves are dying so not a lot of shade left. Second - the
park has
entered into a power saving plan with the power company. When the
temp
gets hot (Mon. - Wed was over 100 each day) they turn the power off
for
several hours. We averaged over 4 hours (from 12 to as late at
6:30PM)
of no power. SO you either ran your generator if you had one or found
a
place where there was air conditioning. Everyone that was there
was
really raising hell about it. Oh the one BUT was that the office
and
strore had power - just the campsites were with out power. We came
home
one day early because it was going to be over 100 again today so we
did
not want to stay around.
