I use a 3/4 ton Ford 4X4 pu with a crew cab on a daily basis... it's not so
bad, you get used to it. The view from up is great.

Seriously, I am so glad you are okay. Look at it this way, your next trip
has to be better.....
What about the awning, have you been able to get just an arm for it?
