I have both the rivets and the shaver from Airstreamdreams... The shaver
uses an end mill like cutter to "shave" the end of the center pin down to a
preset level and at the same time burnishes the metal together so it looks
like there is no center pin.  You can nip the pin off close and "shave" them
with a file or a Dremel tool at your convenience....In the rare case where
the remnant of the center pin touches something ... just hand finish them
right away... If you are doing thousands of rivets, the shaver will save you
most of a lifetime...  for a few it's just one of those neat things to
have.....
