Hi,

I'm sure y'all get these kinds of posts all the time.

Excuse my ignorance of any particular terms or nomenclature that you use.

We have found a 31' 1977 rear-bath Airstream that seems to be in excellent
condition. Current owner is looking for $5,200 to settle bank loan he has on
the trailer.

It looks really great. Outside is a bit dull, but no rips or dings - the
rear looks like it has new skin.

Interior is very clean with no apparant leaks, burns, tears, stains etc.

He says all appliances and AC work - will turn it all on so that we can
check it out.

Says that the shower/bath set-up "needs work" - he's not sure what exactly,
maybe a hose....

So does it sound like a deal? It has been sitting for about four months in a
parking lot through some pretty bad weather and I can see no leaks.

We are looking for a funky alternative weekend retreat that we can park on
some acreage and gradually fix up and then later build a house on the land
and tow the Airstream.

What do you think?
