Re: [a/s] Shower Curtain, '63 a/s Rearbath

This may be completely irrelevant, but in my 1978, 28 foot rear bath Argosy
motor home, the shower curtain is arranged as follows:

1) the front, upright side is held in place by several "Dot" type snap
fasteners, so yes it is stationary on that side.  I would suspect that the
"male" part of those fasteners is still present on the front wall of the shower
booth, or at least the screw holes where they were attached.

2) across the top running from front to rear is a fairly conventional
shower-curtain rod from which the curtain hangs on rings.  This is firmly fixed
in place by screws in the flanges at each end, it is not one of those
spring-loaded jobs.

3) the curved, rear side is held in place, when you close the curtain, by
several Velcro strips, the hook part is stuck to the wall and the loop part
*sewed* to the curtain material.  Don't try to use self-stick Velcro on curtains
of any kind, a) it won't stick and b) it will likely destroy the curtain
material.  There are three or four Velcro strips, each about two inches long, in
strategic places along that curved side.

4) the bottom edge of the curtain hangs free and if you don't want wet carpet of
course you have to make sure it is inside rather than outside the lip or sill of
the shower base.  It overlaps by a couple of inches so that is no particular
problem.

5) on the front, upright side there is a strap of curtain material, held in
place by Dot fastener, which you can pass around the folded curtain and snap
shut to keep it neatly folded when travelling.  If possible let the curtain dry
before securing it in this way.

I can make and post photographs if that would help.  Might take me a few days
though, we don't have a digital camera and it is a 150 mile round trip to get
film developed ...
