[a/s] Tires

After several weeks of refurbishing my 1976 Airstream accomplishing quite a bit it was time to take it to a professional to check out some of the vital functions. Today I dropped the trailer off at Bob Jones RV service here in Houston for a full check-up of the AC, fridge, water heater, propane, wheel bearings and brakes. I am also having a new converter put in as well since the original Univolt had been replaced with a no brand 20 amp unit that was not working at all.

While Chris Jones was looking over the trailer he pointed out that although the tires still had plenty of tread, they were cupped pretty bad. He felt this happened from being out of balance, low tire pressure and possibly bad shocks. He said it looked like the tires were about 5 or 6 years old and probably should be replaced and maybe the shocks as well. He will include this in his estimate

What would be the replacement tire of choice and what should I be looking at as far as price. I have the steel rims and the current tires are 700x15 - 6 ply.

Thanks
