The four Vista Vue windows in my 1978 Argosy motor home are in perfect
condition.  So far as I can see they are NOT thermopane or double glazed ... and
they do let in quite a bit of heat when the sun blazes down.  So at that point
you close the slides.  But in a campground you can leave your side curtains
closed for privacy, open the Vista Vues and let in the light in the morning, it
is really nice and I would hate not to have them.

So I think this might come under the heading of great idea which was perfectly
OK until somebody tried to improve it still further by putting in double
glazing?
