Does anyone know the
torque rating on the axle nut? Just replaced the wheel bearing etc.
on all four wheels. Took it 15 miles down the road and 3 of the 4 wheels
are hot to touch. Told my husband I'd just ask here, I'm sure
one of you guys would know. DSK in TEXAS
No
perload or torque needed on wheel bearings. A little or no play is better,
but do not torque. As bearing heats up it gets tighter. Better to start with
a little play. Hope this helps.
