Yes, but.  Townsend Bolt and Nut introduced nylon screws 40 years ago and now the nylon nut is 
common.  THese eliminate almost completely vibration problems.  Aircraft wiring would eliminate them 
entirely and be stronger than rivets.  Aircraft wiring cost more than rivets.  Is that the answer?
