Re: [a/s] Freshwater Woes & Thor

Greetings, All.

As much as I hate to say this, I suggest to you folks who have shoddy
workmanship coaches to run, don't walk, run to an attorney for advise. Properly
document the condition of the coach with repairs to the satisfaction of counsel,
and be prepared to litigate to get movement. If Jackson Center comes through,
you're only out a few dollars in consulting fees; however, if they continue to
screw things up for you, your attorney can do much to make them move, up to and
or furnishing a new coach; or giving you a refund and buying the defective unit
back.

Thor is a large industrial company, and you can bet that they have counsel on
staff. Don't try to take them on without counsel. This list is a wonderful
resource, and their 'Airstream' name is at stake for quality. The last thing
they want is bad press or litigation over product quality; however, threats
won't work. Calls and letters from attorneys to attorneys are more likely to
produce positive results.

I sincerly hope that they take care of your coaches for you.

Anyone else out there have advice?

Roger
