We also have an Onan generator on our 73 Overlander, 27'.  We just thought
it was something that came on all of the a/s's.  It seems to have some
rusted parts on it.  We have a book on it and we looked up some of the
parts.  Ours wasn't getting propane to it, the part seemed to be stuck.  My
husband sent me to Houston to locate some of the parts, thinking we might be
able to get it to run.  Well, just the regulator alone cost $500 and the
other parts probably up to $150 more.  So we decided to just wait and maybe
check on the solar panels every one is talking about for charging our
batteries.  We did call a a/s dealer and inquire about the price of a new
Onan and was told $3500.  WOW!
