I have a long extension chord on my 68 Land Yacht and have it plugged in at
the house. Using a heavy 12 gauge chord it gives me no problem. I
had a smaller ext chord plugged in and it caused no problem, although I was
probably dropping 25% of the juice due to the length and all. I don't
believe the chord is your problem. Battery in the
Argosy? Have a volt meter to see what voltage you are
getting?
