[a/s] Weight

    Thanks for the responses about the wt. of a '75 Excella 500.  We also 
have to buy a truck for towing, so I needed to know what size (and cost) of 
truck we would be getting into.  I will take a closer look at the trailer for 
an info tag, but the same size Excella for this year has a GVWR of 8300.  
With the new models having all that wood and the wider body, I can't imagine 
the older unit being over 8000.  I'm also looking for a copy of the owner's 
manual, which would answer a great many questions.
    By the way, we recently bought a 25 year old mobile home, and the 
countertops, sinks, toilets, etc. are harvest gold in color.  I suppose the 
artistic course of action would be to buy a color coordinating trailer.
