Seems to me that you want to leave the water pressure regulator out of
the bathroom and put a little one where the hose connects or even put one
on your hose and use it when you connect.  You do not use the regulator
when you are on your pump.

If its Wyoming, its windy!  Too bad Hunter had to endure a bad heat wave
across Utah and Colorado.  We were in Moab a week earlier and it was
nice.  Lyall
