The hitch receiver is sturdy enough to dig a hole in pavement (done it a couple
of times) ... I am more concerned about hitting the waste dump fitting on the
ground, it is of course at the side of the vehicle, not in the center line, and
there is nothing solid near it to which you could attach a roller ... I've
scraped it on the ground a few times, destroyed a couple of caps but so far not
the pipe itself ... the deep rain gutters common in CA and AZ have to be crossed
at a sharp angle if you don't want to bottom out.

No place in front without blocking *most* of the radiator, unwise I think
because the cooling system is marginal anyway.

The 19.5 inch rim with tire mounted is 33.5 inches in diameter and about 10
inches thick (the center of the hub bulges out) and probably weighs over 50
pounds ... there isn't really room for anything like that in the living space
... it could only stand upright, there is nowhere you could lay an object that
size down flat.

The newer Airstream motorhomes mounted it at the rear, amidships, above the
bumper, and provided a housing for it.  I think constructing some sort of
mounting rack for it in that location is the only reasonable option, unless
there turns out to be room underneath, between the frame rails and just behind
the rear axle.  I haven't crawled under there to measure yet, but suspect there
isn't enough width between the frame rails.
