It occurred to me that perhaps after thoroughly rinsing the tanks you could
leave the valve and the end cap open and try to clean the area of the gate valve
from inside with a soft toilet bowl brush ... that might get out some of the
crud which might be stuck in the slot into which the gate valve slides ... you
would want to have everything well soaked and softened up before trying this ...
Chris, is this a good idea?
