[a/s] Water leak/Polishing a/s

Recently acquired 73' Airstream,Land Yacht,Overlander, 27'. Very clean and
we're excited. We have a 74 Manuel.Discovered we only have a brown tank. The
grey water just empties out. We'll have to purchase auxiliary tank. Just
learning how everything works. Feel very ignorant but, we'll get it. Haven't
gone anywhere yet but plan on trip in July.  On our 45 gal water holding
tank we do have slight leak. It drips through the openings where gas lines
go up from underneath.  We plan on taking it in for repair.  We looked
underneath and can't figure out how the panel comes off.  We might look at
it again instead of taking it in.
Also wondered about polishing it our selves. We have man power to do this.
We realize we have to have a belle buffer and the right compounds. Found out
there is company, Airmark, Oklahoma who will sell us products and tool. Sure
would like to know if this is something that is possible for us to attempt
ourselves.
