(c:  Welcome.  I think one of the important things is to give the Airstream 
frequent washings.... with Dawn detergent I believe.  I guess it's the 
pollutanta in the air that can really do some damage.  That said, I haven't 
washed mine in months. )c:  The rain washed it today through most of 
Louisiana though............

Not sure how long the list has existed.... maybe 2-3 years (?) It has had 
some changes.  It was originally started by a guy named Ewan McDonnell who 
didn't even have an Airstream.  He kind of asked me to take it over and 
basically gave it to me, and it split off into two lists.  The Vintage list 
is more technical, more repairing and restoring vintage trailers, less gab 
than this one.  I try to keep it pretty much on topic, but it can and does 
drift occasionally. (c:

Glad you are enjoying it.  Your new trailer sounds great, what do you plan to 
do with it?  Vacations?  Fulltime? Weekend camping trips?
