Thank you Chris, I saw that code for "high DC". I share the same concerns
that you referred too. We decided not to take the chance and installed a
charge controller on the PVs. When we decide to equalize the batteries we
can simply turn off the frige. I checked with the owners manual. The 12vdc
current draws are very minimal. A gas valve, ignition and a moisture heater.
Much of the draws are intermittent also. Thanks Joe from Long Island NY.
