We had an Award which had a heat pump on the roof for several years. We thought it was great. It worked really good down to about 40 degrees. Seldom ran the furnace. Our new (to us) A/S has one but have only turned it on to see if it works. Good luck ===== -Lee K4GLC and Mary N4AXP Shelby, NC
