RE: [a/s] high pressure hose



Actually Hunter, it can be a very big health issue. My previous
tongue-in-cheek aside, garden hoses lay around the yard or get stored for
periods of time with water trapped inside.  The water grows stagnant and
funky (yes, that's a technical term) just like a scum pond from whatever
microbes are trapped with it.  
More dangerously, and as alluded to by previous posters, is contamination
from whatever herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, etc that you and your
neighbors are keeping your lawns covenant-compliant with.  You spread a few
pounds of diazinon around the estate one day and then water it the next and
you're bound to get some of the poison on that hose...do want your kids
frenching that nozzle? I think not...
