Yes, I like it very much. In the beginning every couple days I learned about another neat new trick.. It is certainly economical. It is now $9.95/ mo rather than over $40/mo. As soon as I was connected I dropped my AT&T provider. Had been using my laptop and retrieving e-mail. Often I was not able to fins a hook-up to do e-mail. The places that did make coupler or phone available were busy. There were no opportunities to use the Internet as there would be someone waiting to use th phone. 
  Does it take long to download all these messages from the AS list?

Yes, it does at times but it is worth it. Now I can go to just about any phone,payphone.
