We are new to towing and reading the above makes me wonder if we really 
goofed; however, our hitch is an equalizing one with sway bar and seems very 
heavy-duty. 

We bought our 19' Bambi from an A/S dealer (Toscano RV in Los Banos, CA) and 
they sell Reese hitches.  They sell all sizes of a/s and we were very happy 
with their service.
