Hi Gang: Just a note to let you know
what worked for me on a mildew problem. My door on my 1975 31 sovereign had a
bad case of mildew. Mainly on the bottom half an behind the solid panels of the
screen door. The cover appears to be cardboard, covered with a white vinyl
cloth. I have tried all the cleaners such as fantastic etc. with no help. I had
decide that I was going to spray it with white paint but for some reason I
tried one last time with a strong mix of bleach and water. Wow, it killed the mildew and it just disappeared
without any rubbing. I had given up on it but now it looks fine. When it dries
I will give it a good cleaning with soapy water and I think it will be almost
as good as new.
