I agree with Ebert!  Get something that works and works correctly.  But,
for those purists within VAC, endevoring to go to Concourse D'Elegance,
it is possible to rewrap the converter as well as slow down the excess
production of heat.  Any good electrical shop could do this for you.  Or,
show you how.  Consider that maintaining consistency with the original
product is essential for some VAC members---for that reason alone
changing to Ebert's set-up is changing out the stock configuration.  But,
I would also put a 307 into a TR-3!
