Thanks for everyone's responses about mildew.  Nothing is new that I know of, 
and I've had it totally open, so those of you that suggested a gas poisoning- 
I think its aired out.  I am pretty bummed about those of you that suggested 
that I replace the fabric (drapes), carpet and upholstery- everything LOOKS 
perfect- which of those three is the most likely to be the worst culprit??  I 
really don't think I can do all that right now.  I'm amazed that with all the 
windows open, my eyes can water after just a few minutes inside.  I have no 
known allergies.  Where should I start if I can't do all three, or am I just 
wasting my time if I don't??
