Re: [a/s] Ideal length of a/s?

George,
We just picked up a 34' Limited front kitchen in Tampa two weeks ago. This is
the longest trailer I have pulled. We had a 30' SOB for 15 years. I will say
there are times when the extra length can be a pain, but there is no way I would
give up the comfort of the 34' just because you need to watch for easy access
gas stations. That is the only problem I have seen to date. I got in a gas
station where I had to back out of the service area instead of pulling on
through. The trailer pulls like a dream with a Hensley Arrow Hitch and the
living is wonderful when you get to the campground. I did find one camp ground
in Key West that did not take any rigs over 30', which is the only place I have
seen that had that short of a limit. I can see no reason not to have the extra
room, if you are going to tow anything tow the size that fits your needs and
lifestyle.
