Hi you guys.
No good recommendations for parting it out.
Value should be worth  2500 to $3,000  BUT.........
If you just bought it and can provide the receipt, they should be able to 
give you whatever you paid for it...if it was recent.   
After you sign over the title, and they settle, ask them "what would it cost 
me to buy it back with a 'salvage bid'?"  Then you have the settlement, AND 
the trailer to scrap &/or strip down, or whatever....IF you decided you want 
it back. 
If it were the 50s the appliances would be more 'vintage' and worth more $, 
but 60s used more standard stuff.  
If you really want to talk to an qualified service person, I'm sure there's 
someone here in the group who can give you an 800 number of someone closer to 
you than here on the West Coast... But.....if you don't get one......call 
Bill Smith, Service of Tweten's (Airstream) RV 1-800-253-3310 (westcoast 
time).  He says if you fax him pictures of it, he could maybe talk to the 
insurance adjuster if you have a problem getting what you paid for it.
