Show the spice rack you have to a wood worker. Most any furniture maker
ought to be able to make one. Making a tambour door isn't hard, just
tedious. A couple of the woodworking shows on public television have
done tambour topped desks. Their video tapes are probably still
available. The tambour door is just a gang of small half round sticks
glued to a canvas cloth. The ends of the sticks ride in grooves in the
sides of the cabinet or desk.
