You know what?  ...several people pooling together could make a lot of 
money..opening an A/S Parts House...!
I recently was checking out the litte Tambour door Spice Rack that I removed 
from my Excel, just to find out how much it goes for.  
A/S International does NOT sell them anymore!  they are not available! period!
I called the N.W. A/S Dealer, and they confirmed that...but said they had ONE 
a while back that someone had found...and they wished they had gotten a 
carload b/c it sold in a FLASH!  They had a $65 price on it..and the buyer 
didn't even flinch!  So, parts are hard to find.  I would just 'put it out 
there'  Someone must have one of those couches in good shape, maybe in an A/S 
that's NOT... or they just have one in a garage somewhere.   I found out a 
good way to re-cover them is by having a "FUTON" dealer repad it with a 
cotton cover.  Then cover it yourself (or have an upholsterer do it) with the 
upholstery fabric  of your choice.  
Oh..........man (or woman) I wish I had the property and the capital to start 
an A/S "parts" / 'Junk' store!  
Or......why can't this group do it as far as an inventory listing is 
concerned...?  Then, we could just sign on and pull the (daily updated) list 
down and scan it over and see who's screen name to contact for the item 
interested in.  ??  
Crazy idea?

Would it be too much work?
