Hi,
Just purchased a dish for my house with two receivers and another dish for 
the A/S.  I have not as yet used the dish purchased for the A/S but several 
friends have them and are very happy.

Our service is Direct Tv.  You do not need to use the phone line unless you 
are getting "pay per view" movies or sports.  Then you need the phone line 
connected.  Our receivers are working just fine without being hooked up to 
the phone lines.  I have heard that Direct Tv will try to charge you for 
additional services is you use the dish on your trailer and someone at your 
home is also using the dish.  

We have found the reception and services to be great.  Much better than cable 
in our area.

If you have any other questions, let me know.  We have 6 TV's connected to 
our dish and also receive local stations.
