Re: [a/s] Re: Basic Questions

Exactly. The fridge is the most important reason for wanting to be really
level. At least in my book. Of course it's nice too if the things you are
cooking on the stove don't slide off, or all run down into one side of the pan,
etc. ...

I carry three sets of Lynx Levelers, because my motor home doesn't have
hydraulic leveling jacks and I sometimes camp in unusual offroad locations.
That way I can, if necessary, prop up one whole side of the motor home, front
singles and rear duals, to a height of five or six inches. Also very useful if
you are parked in someone's steep driveway (I have a friend in Tulsa with a
driveway like that ...). You put the rear end uphill and prop up the front
however far may be necessary.

But I can recall only one or two occasions when I've had to break out the Lynx
Levelers in a campground, and those were somewhat out of the way locations. The
tiny but highly recommended (by me anyway) municipal campground in Grayville, IL
(it's perched on top of a hill in the woods, very quiet and rustic), and one or
two state parks.
