[a/s] Satellite TV

Hi listies, Could somebody drop by and show me how to
send an e-mail. :-) Sorry bout the blank pages. 
Mary and I have decided to get a dual reciever mini
dish system to replace a large dish and cable at our
home. We were thinking that we could use one of the
receivers with another dish in our A/S when traveling.
We decided on Direct TV because they have a couple of
channels that Dish Network doesn't have.....Thought we
had it all figured out....Then I read on another list
that Direct TV wants a telephone line hooked to both
receivers at all times? If I don't do that then I
would have to pay full price for both recievers rather
than full price for one and five bux for the other?
Any comments or experiences? Thanks
