Your words are gracious and kind. Thank You! It is
true though I have run into a lot of "nice" new parks
that have enacted age restrictions on trailers and
coaches. They will tell you right up front when you
pull in, or on the phone when you want to make a
reservation. One for an example is a beautiful new,
huge RV park, in Gold Canyon, AZ. I was crest fallen
after they showed me the resort, lovely, and then
before I was leaving said, "by the way how old is your
unit". I left feeling very sad knowing that my
beautiful Silver Streak would never be pulled down
those landscaped streets! I agree that if a rig is in
good condition and well kept, who would care?? But
obviously someone does, either the owners of the
parks, of the patrons! The sad thing is some of our
best friends stay there each winter now, (have a fancy
new motorhome) and we can't even stay next to them,
but are forced to stay "up the road" at the KOA.
I would pull my sparkly, well cared for and loved,
Silver Streak and truck up along side any of these new
"fancy-danzy" rigs anyday, and PROUDLY!
But so often these days, rules and restrictions apply
over and over again in our society!
