Just two cents worth on bulbs,
When I got my A/S I put a few high-brightness halogens in a few light
fixtures to brighten things up a bit.
It did a good job but started to deform the plastic lenses on the
fixtures.
Bottom line=stick with the factory spec bulbs.
I left the bright ones in the backup lights to help when letting the A/S
lead.They do not stay on long enough to melt anything(yet). They work
great with my backup camera as well.
