We picked up our blinds at Wal-Mart and K-Mart after taking
measurements. They are working great. The first blind, as in many
projects, was the most difficult to set up and then it was easy.
This week after having the blinds in use for a couple months we came up
with the idea of shortening the blind rods that adjust the slat
openings. Carl used our serrated bread knife to cut the rods, saved the
endcaps and was able to put the cap back in the shortened rod for the
finished look.
