We found off the shelf mini blinds for our 76 Trade Wind at Home Depot and the "hold-downs" to secure the bottom at Camping World. We've only done one window so far as a little test to see if we like it. 

 

Total cost was very close to the cost of pull down shades and should last a good deal longer.  A nice aspect of mini-blinds is that by putting a slant on the slats you can get some view while cutting down on solar heat load in summer and still have some sense of screening.  Not quite so with pull downs.

 

They may not provide 100% privacy, but 98% by our judging.  Besides, even in a worst-case scenario - anyone should know, "If the trailer's rockin'......"
