	Good point, but I wouldn't worry about it. It is my feeling that the
exhaust isn't *that* hot.

	In fact, I have run the furnace with the door open, many times (somehow
the cats seem to think that it is just right- having warm air blowing on
them, while getting to snoff fresh, cold air).

	While I have not run it for real long times (longer that 10-15 minutes),
it hasn't even discolored the finish.
	
	Of course, YMMV...
