Re: [a/s] door burn-through

Got it. SO this is the issue: Door fully open blocks the furnace exhaust for
long periods, we got problems. From my view, that ain't a problem. But I am
glad the list brought it up because the risks seem real for some people. IN
my three years of full timing (DON'T tell the Airstream folks, the manual
says don't use the trailer a lot!) I cannot say I have had many times when I
consciously rant eh furnace while the door was left open. The risk, as I see
it, is when the thermostat is set relatively low, occupants know it is warm
outside, they go outside, temp cools inside and out when the door is open,
and the furnace kicks on to heat the inside and outside while the owner
stepped away. Now that would be easy to do. If the configuration of the
trailer results in excessive heat in that situation, it seems worthy of
concern.

My two cents' worth!
