Re: [a/s] The dreaded rear bath version in my 27 foot 1973 Over
Our tail sag came about from a severe snowstorm at Shaver Lake, California.
Until then, our '75 excella did just fine. We enjoyed our mid-twin-rear bath
a/s and pulled it many miles. But the snow load on this particular
Valentines's Day weekend was too much. Closet doors stuck from then on.
Turned out that the a/s had been previously "repaired" for tail sag, a
condition that the original owner conveniently failed to mention. Even so.
we pulled that a/s over 50K miles and enjoyed every minute. Now we have a
'83 Soverign which is built on 6" channel iron frame ( instead of the 4"
under the '75 model, and we enjoy it as much as ever.
Good trips to all.
