According to the specs I've looked at, the amp hours are higher for the
Optima than a normal deep cycle battery. I had been using a Group 27
battery, and the Optima yellow top is actually considerably smaller (and
heavier) than the Group 27. Both my RV guy and local car repair guy say
they're great. I'm having my current battery tested today. The Optima is
$160. I may just do it.
