Hunter and all,

The night prior to his transmission going south, we read his manual and it
said it was ok to drive in overdrive.  He wasn't on roads that caused the
transmission to shift in and out and we were staying pretty much at 60-65 as
well.

I chatted with others, including mechanics about this and one of them said
that the Chevy transmission in that truck is just a little heavier duty than
the ones they used to put into the Chevette.(;>)~  I think they were
exagerating, but it must have been a pretty light duty tranny.  The truck
only had like 17K on it too.
