The tow vehicle you describe should do very well...  I am towing a  1978 31' 
A/S with an '89 'burb with the 350 engine...and have had no problems in over 
30,000 miles of towing.  I cannot pass all the Beemers on long hills, but 
have used it on 8% grades and never been below 45 MPH.

A lot of the people on the list swear that only huge diesels or engines will 
pull an A/S, but I am just relating my personal experience.  The weights of 
the newer A/S's are heavier than the older models, but I see no reason you 
should have any trouble with the vehicle you are considering....
