Hi Tim,

I can answer that one.  Yes, Argosys are aluminum EXCEPT for the front and 
back end cap which are steel.  The aluminum panels were flawed and stained 
which is why they weren't put on Airstreams, but used on the painted Argosys. 

If it's in decent shape for under $1500...I say go for it.
