[a/s] Beaver Bed

To Hunter or anyone else who has one:

What's involved with installing the Beaver Bed?  Is it something we can do 
ourselves?  Right now, we have a fiberglass tonneau cover and I find there is 
not a great deal of room (height) when the cover is closed.  How much of that 
do you lose with the Beaver Bed?  We will eventually exchange the tonneau for 
a shell - just wondering what happens if we install it now.
