Your suggestion to join Escapees is an excellent one.... which is why I 
joined it before I started fulltiming.  

I think the difference is we enjoy discussing this stuff.  For example if 
someone here is thinking of buying a certain insurance it's nice to hear from 
others if they have had success when they needed to make a claim.

I'm sure a lot of the information we give could be found elsewhere, but then 
there would be no list.  As I said before many discussions are spawned from 
other discussions.

Think of the list as a group of friends who come together to discuss a common 
interest... kind of a sitting around the cracker barrel if you will.
