Welcome Jim,
What we did to find our first Airstream was out an add in the local
newspapers, here where I live in Wisconsin I used 3, Green Bay, Appleton
and the Oshkosh. That covers about a million in population. I had calls
from a dozen or so people and looked at 6. I still think this is a great
investment to pull those Airstreams that are local out of the woodwork
and the barn for you to look at. When I look again I'll do the same
thing!
As for years I like the mid to late 60's I have a 59 Traveler that is 18
feet, to be honest too small. I also have a 68 Sovereign, its 30 feet
that we have liked real well with the kids and all. Now that they are
going to be in college and it is me, the wife, 2 dogs and a cat I'm
looking for a 25 footer, that will be perfect for what we want.
Try the add in the paper thing, it might save you some traveling.
