Robert,
The sad reality is that the Bargman's are now made in China. They are made
to just barely outlast their warrantee of 1 year. If you are having problems
with a new one, then by all means have them replace it! I went through 2 of
these in 3 or 4 years. I found an old american made one on e-bay from a
trailer being parted out. I have been happy with it.
